Goods Train Crash At Korei Station Odisha Incident
This incident occurred on Monday morning, 21st of November 2022 when people at the station of Korei were waiting for their train to arrive. Police have said that the train that collapsed was a loader or a good carrier that was carrying tons of weight in it. As the train derailed, the people at the station were stuck under it and injured as well. This incident occurred at the Korei station which is in the Bhadrak Kapilas Road Railway section which comes under the Khodra Road railway division of East Coast railway station in the Jaipur district of Odisha. Also, this train derailed and two people were dead on the post who were identified, and still, the investigations are on.

Until now police have said that there were two people who were injured and passed away on the spot due to injuries. There are other people as well who were there at the scene of the incident who got injured and are getting transported to the hospital, but police have also said that they are unaware of the casualties occurred ad the injuries that occurred as well, so they will reveal them as soon as they come up with the investigation result. The two casualties that occurred at the station on spot were identified by the police. The two were identified as Parbati Bindhani and her daughter Kandhei Bindhani who were from the Korei area.

Fire trucks, personnel, police, medics, and also help teams w ell reached the place of the incident helping people who were there stuck under the train and people who were injured at the place. Media houses reported that there were several ambulances at the place of the incident and also police as well. As per the reports, eight wagons of the train derailed resulting in a massive and tragic collapse and destruction of the railway station. Later police revealed that three people were dead but the names of the dead were not revealed as they are still investigating the case and also many injuries occurred to rescue. A report also claimed that police reached the place after much time and delaying as well., although the help team and other some of the reports claimed that the officers arrived on time. Another report claimed that the walkers and families of the people who passed away in the incident and inured as well raised their voices against the officers and raised slogans as well. As this mishap has occurred the railway lines will be closed leading to the enclosure of various routes and also various train lines as well. Eyewitnesses who were there said that the train was at high speed when it arrived leading to imbalance and losing control.
