Nagen Baruah Death Reason
The Veteran Retired Assam Police officer Nagen Baruah passed away at his residence in Beltola, Guwahati on Sunday. He got retired from the police service in the year of 1994 when he was in the administration of the Noonmati Police Station. He was a receiver of the Police Medal in the year 1971 for his service during the Bangladesh war when he was posted at Mahendraganj, which is now in Meghalaya. He left behind his wife, 2 sons, and a daughter.

He contributed a lot as a Police officer in the India-Pakistan war of 1971. where India conquered the Pakistani and they were forced to surrender. It was a really shameful defeat for Pakistan. Nagen hold the command of his police station in Nooonmati and assisted the forces and maintained peace and order in the time of chaos among the residents. His former team and the battalion of the officers who were his companions are in a frightful state after hearing the news of his death. We pay him our tribute and we are proud of such an honorable police officer. He solved a ton of cases and worked overtime. There are not a lot of Police officers like him and we wouldn’t get a man in charge like him and our deep sympathies are with his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
