According to the local news and the show, Vince entered the show at the opening scenes and he said the tagline and the punch of the show and said it was then, now, and will be forever together, welcome to Smackdown. He said that it was a privilege to be standing in front of the fans of WWE. He then announced that the time has come to say goodbye to the show. Many people were disappointed as they were expecting him to owe an explanation of the charges that were laid upon him. But the weirdest thing was that he did not give any explanation, what he did was exactly the opposite of what the fans expected. He just got off from his position as the CEO and chairman of the WWE and said his final words on the show, which let down the WWE fans.

Many people said that it was an odd way to go away and step away from his responsibilities. An allegation was laid up on him that he gave a worth 3 million USD amount to the woman whom he had illegal relations with and to not disclose the issue to anyone. According to a Wall Street employee, Vince had an affair with an employee from the WWE and promised to give the money as a result of the settlement. The board of the WWE is also investigating the case and maybe that is the reason why he was seen getting down from his responsibilities.

The company officials said that they will not release any more statements until the investigation comes to a result and the reality comes out.
